Outside, the vineyard replanted with table grapes for you to enjoy in season, and with the Malbec variety, provides the perspective for this surrealist view over the Lapopie Cliffs, whilst also being a reminder of the history of the "Black Wine of Cahors", which the boatmen used to transport down the river Lot and on to Bordeaux, to the Port de la Lune.
Popie, the little donkey and her friends with their "sunglasses", the Caussenarde sheep of Quercy, always and inevitably remind you of the history of Saint Cirq Lapopie.
And on the right, the mystery and patience of truffle-growing are being cultivated…..
