In the hotel grounds, admire the breathtaking view of the cirque of the Lapopie dvnasty while enjoying the fruits of the replanted grape vines, grown alongside wine grapes of the Malbec variety, conjuring up the history of “Black Wine”, which the boatmen transported down the Lot River in barges to Bordeaux, known as the Port of the Moon.
To the left of the rooms, in front of the restored tobacco drying outbuilding, the orchard promises future treats the form of homemade jams.
Popie, the little donkey, and her friends sporting their dark glasses, the sheep of the Causses du Quercy, are a timeless reminder of the history of Saint Cirq Lapopie.
